Does Invisible Fence come with a guarantee or warranty?
Yes! We offer extensive Invisible Fence guarantees and warranties on all our products including a One-Year, Money-Back Performance Guarantee on professionally installed, premium outdoor Invisible Fence® Brand systems. We also offer a minimum of a one-year equipment warranty and many of our systems include a lifetime equipment warranty.
You can also schedule a service appointment and our technician will test your entire system including the control panel, lightning and surge protection, Computer Collar® Receivers, indoor units and underground wire. We can provide a complete system analysis and make any necessary repairs to your Invisible Fence system.

Where can I get an Invisible Fence sign for my yard?
Your local Invisible Fence dealer can provide a sign for your yard for free. This will let your neighbors know your pets are protected by an Invisible Fence Brand system. If the dealer near you didn't provide a sign or you need a new one, contact our corporate Invisible Fence office to request one.
Where can I purchase Invisible Fence batteries?
Invisible Fence offers a few different options for customers to replace batteries. Power Cap® Batteries for your Invisible Fence Computer Collar receiver can be purchased through our online store or by calling 800-578-3647. You can buy batteries one at a time, or we recommend keeping your pet on an annual Power Cap® Plan. It’s the safest, easiest and most reliable way to guarantee your pet’s safety 100% of the time (and it is cheaper).

How often do I replace the battery in my pet’s Invisible Fence Computer Collar?
If you have started to see a red flashing light on your pet’s Computer Collar unit, your Power Cap battery may need to be replaced. However, we recommend changing your pet’s battery every three months for the safest, easiest and most reliable way to guarantee your pet’s safety 100% of the time.
To change a collar batteries , follow these steps:
- Use a small, thin coin to remove the Power Cap battery from the Computer Collar unit. Insert the coin in the slot on top of the Power Cap unit and turn it 45 degrees counter-clockwise. Do not push down while turning. The Power Cap unit will rotate while the spring inside will push the Power Cap battery out of the Computer Collar unit battery chamber.
- Install a new Power Cap battery by lining up the lugs on the bottom of the Power Cap unit with the grooves in the sides of the receiver's battery chamber. Make sure the metal tabs on the bottom of the Power Cap unit are not bent. Place the Power Cap battery into the chamber while gently, but firmly, turning it clockwise 45 degrees with your fingers.
How do I fit a collar to my pet?
The collar should be snug enough to slide only one finger between a correction post and your pet’s skin. Remember to adjust the fit of the collar as your pet’s coat, weight, and age change. Your pet’s coat may change from season to season.
Collar fit is extremely important, especially if your dog or cat is on an electric dog fence. If your Computer Collar is too loose, you pet may not feel the correction. If the Computer Collar is too tight, it may cause neck irritation.
Failure to check ANY collar will result in skin irritation or pressure necrosis. These are not burns (since Invisible Fence uses static correction) but instead the result of not checking the fit of the collar.
How often should I remove my pet’s collar?
Every day! In addition to a proper fitting collar, it is also important to remove your pet’s collar nightly because pets grow and change sizes. Check and adjust your pet’s collar frequently to avoid causing irritation.

Can I take my Invisible Fence® Brand system with me when I move?
Yes! Bring your Invisible Fence transmitter and Computer Collar receiver with you to your new home and contact your local dealer to install new boundary wire, flag your property and re-train your pet(s) to their new boundaries.
