Project Breathe™ Program Save in Belding, Michigan

By Invisible Fence® Brand on 04-24-2014
Invisible Fence Brand's Project Breathe™ Program is an initiative that's dedicated to providing pet oxygen mask kits to first responders.
An animal clinic in Eureka Township called Town & Country Animal Clinic donated pet oxygen masks to firefighters at the Belding Fire Department. These masks were a part of Invisible Fence® Brand's Project Breathe™ Program.

"Dr. Peter Blinkilde, a veterinarian with Town & Country said the goal of the oxygen masks are to be helpful to the animals and to buy time for owners to get their pet to a veterinarian if the animal is suffering from smoke inhalation," says The Daily News

These masks, offered in three different sizes - small, medium, and large, fit directly over the pet's nose help supply oxygen. They're simple enough to use so that firefighters can teach owners how to use them on the spot then proceed onto other duties at the fire scene.

According to The Daily News, Blinkilde confirmed that Town & Country is exploring options to work with Invisible Fence again and provide pet oxygen masks to two other first responders: the Greenville Department of Public Safety as well as the Lakeview District Fire Department.
