According to the American Kennel Club, Great Danes are described as being friendly, patient, and dependable. The AKC also refers to them as the "Apollo of dogs." As part of the working group, Great Danes are a large breed that's both powerful and noble. They're known to be sweet and gentle giants, but also guardians of their homes and families.
Due to their patient and friendly personalities, Great Danes are eager to please. When training, it is best to have a consistent training schedule and be firm during the lesson.
Here is Hans's story!
Hans is about eight-years-old. He lives with his older, but much smaller sister, Belle who's a 12 year old Miniature Schnauzer. The two siblings and their family live in a great neighborhood where they have so much fun!
Brent, Hans's dog dad, says his favorite thing about Hans is the way he greets people. Hans is somewhat of a vocal fella and loves to say hello to everyone with a nice howl!
