According to American Kennel Club, Pugs are a member of the companion dog group. They're known to have social and loveable temperaments. Though they can be mischievous, they certainly live to please their people. Due to this kind of nature, they're generally easy to train.
When it comes to training a Pug, it's important to note that they can easily get their feelings hurt which is why training sessions in a positive and reward-based environment are recommended. With the Perfect Start™ Plus Training Program, our certified trainers customize training sessions based on each dog's personality, temperament and need so even sensitive breeds like the Pug can learn their boundaries quickly and confidently.
Here is Mace's story:
Mace is a six-year-old Pug who lives with his family in a little town outside of Chicago, Illinois. He has one sibling who's an 11 year-old lab named Ike. Despite their size difference, Mace and Ike are best buddies and enjoy spending their time outside.
Why did Mace's parents contact Invisible Fence of Chicagoland?
Mace's parent's have always had a physical fence to help keep the dogs inside their yard. However, once the family moved to a new home they learned about Invisible Fence and decided to give it a try. Mace and Ike's safety means the world to their dog mom, Evelyn. So, she contacted Invisible Fence of Chicagoland for a quote and to learn more about underground fences for her yard.
"We moved into a new home, have always had physical fences and decided to try Invisible Fence because of the price." - Evelyn
How did Invisible Fence of Chicagoland help?
After Evelyn's local Invisible Fence Dealership explained the different solutions available, they helped her narrow down the options based on both Mace and Ike's needs. Invisible Fence of Chicagoland ended up recommending our Boundary Plus® Wired System.
Boundary Plus Wired is the original advanced pet fence technology, offering the longest range, the most room to play and an exclusive free pass. Where traditional dog fencing takes away play area in the yard and is easy for your pet to run through, Boundary Plus Wired prevents "break outs" by creating the boundary based on time, not distance.
Invisible Fence of Chicagoland gave Mace and his brother the independence to lounge outside both in the front and back yards. They were able to give the siblings freedom while keeping Evelyn confident in the boys' safety without a traditional fence.
"Great product and exceptional customer service!" - Evelyn
